Official overview of burglary in Poland
Poland publishes recorded burglaries with breaking and entering (kradzież z włamaniem) through Policja Portal Statystyki (longer voivodeship history through 2023) and GUS Bank Danych Lokalnych powiat figures from 2025. According to the official GUS BDL national series used by Home Security Planning, Poland recorded 52,463 such offences in 2025 — a national rate of 1.4 per 1,000 residents. Missing years are never filled with invented values. The 2025 series uses a different official source grain than the pre-2025 Policja voivodeship history and is not year-on-year comparable across that methodology break.

How burglary data is reported in Poland
Where official crime data is available, statistics come from publicly available government and police datasets:
- GUS BDL powiat series (from 2025) — County-level burglary with breaking and entering used for assessment rates.
- Policja voivodeship history — Longer regional trend series through 2023 for charts (methodology break disclosed for 2025).
- GUS population — Gmina population for display; powiat and voivodeship population for rates and benchmarks.

- Missing ≠ zero — Years without a published official count are omitted from trends; they are never shown as zero.
